About Me

A few facts about me:)

I was raised in upstate NY, and when I say upstate, I mean upstate. Born in Plattsburgh, I grew up just a couple of hours from the Canadian border. I love this area and its quiet beauty. Having traveled frequently and to many places, I can honestly say this is the most beautiful place on earth.

Being in a rural area, my parents chose to homeschool me for most of my school years. I did attend a very small private school on and off, which I am grateful for.

After high school, I joined the Army and was stationed in South Korea and El Paso, TX. Being in the military was a crazy experience, and I am exceedingly grateful for the lessons I learned as a soldier. Some of the personal stories I plan to write and post will have to do with my time as a Military Police officer.

College came after the Army, and I learned even more! I met some fantastic people, both professors and students (and one very special secretary). I majored in English Literature because I love to read and I minored in history because I love to read historical fiction.

Now, I am a college graduate and looking for my dream job. Only problem is, I don’t know what my dream job is. So, I am testing the waters in multiple fields to get a feel for what’s out there. This blog is to help me keep practicing my writing as well as connect with others that have the same interests/experiences that I do.

Thanks for stopping by and feel free to contact me!
